Topics included: Enhancing citizen participation, electoral integrity, addressing malpractices, violence, and civic space infringements. Key presentations on electoral reforms, information integrity, cost of elections, technological adaptation, and governance frameworks.\n\nStrengthening Parliamentary Committees and Staff\nGovernance related training for parliamentary committee members and technical\nstaff were held to improve legislative reviews, organization of committee\nsessions, and quicker response times.\n\nPost Legislative Scrutiny (PLS) \nTraining was held for parliamentarians and staff.\nThe training enhanced understanding of PLS principles, leading to more effective\nlegislative decisions.\n\nSupport to the Judiciarys Advisory Committee on Election Management\nThe Strategic Plan was approved, providing a framework for election dispute resolution. Reviews of Election Dispute Resolution (EDR) cases was done which\nidentified trends and gaps to improve efficiency, transparency, and fairness in handling electoral disputes.\n\nSupport for National Assembly Communication Strategy\nA parlamentary reporting workshop was held with 36 journalists to enhance media coverage and parliamentary reporting.\nDemocracy Dialogue Series Eight episodes to to educate the public and increase voter participation. The launch event focused on information integrity and elections. A panel discussion on media polarization, misinformation, and AI in electoral narratives was held.\n\nGender Equality and Social Inclusion Policy (GESIP) \nThe policy was approved by ECZ, with an aim to integrate inclusive practices in electoral processes. The focus is on representation of women, persons with\ndisabilities, and marginalized groups.\n\nTraining for ECZ Staff\nStaff was trained to improved understanding of electoral management. Knowledge comprehension increased from 55% to 85%, enhancing election management skills.\n\nElectoral Reforms and Public Participation\nThe Electoral Reforms Technical Committee (ETRC) was launched on July 19, 2024, with 30 members from key institutions. Public consultations were conducted across all ten provinces, generating 1,367 submissions, including significant input from youth (10.6%) and persons with disabilities (3.5%). The ERCT Report was publicized on June 3rd 2025.\n\nPolitical Party Regulatory Framework\nAn MoU was signed between Zambia Center for Interparty Dialogue (ZCID) and Transparency International Zambia on March 26, 2024. Seven groups were formed to review political party regulations, focusing on registration, funding, campaign financing, inclusion, and enforcement.\n\nPublic Events Management System (PEMS)\nPEMS were installed in 22 police stations across five provinces, which enhanced efficiency, coordination, and realtime data access for the Zambia Police Service (ZPS).\n\nZambia Police Communication Strategy\nA
