In this regard, final evaluation indicates that the program exceeds targets as the YOP enrolled and provided support to 10,722 poor and vulnerable youths living in difficult and hard to reach rural communities across all 15 Counties in Liberia.\n\nBeneficiaries of the CLAS component cultivated over 5,195 hectares of land with various food crops including Cassava, Ground Nut, Plantain, Pineapple, Corn, Rice, Beans, Watermelon, Banana, and Eddoe. The project also supported a batch of 120 youths in 30 rural communities to successfully establish Agro-Processing setups which continued to provide value addition services to youth farming communities up to project activities closure in September 2021.\n\nActivities under this support impacted young vulnerable people in 357 rural communities across Liberia. Each beneficiary received cash grant of up to US$450 over two farming seasons to enable them to meet their basic household needs during the lean season. The labor subsidies were paid out in multiple tranches based on set farming milestones agreed upon by the Project Team. Each beneficiary was guaranteed 20 days of life skills training to allow them to acquire basic soft skills needed to enhance their participation in the farming groups as well as in the labor market. Beneficiaries were also supported with technical information on best farming practices through practical demonstration on farming site.\n\nYOP maintained a functional Grievances Redress System throughout implementation. The system included: i) a digitized system and toll-free number (3344) through which beneficiarie and other people affected by the project could lodge complaints; ii) Community Oversight Committees (CoCs) and County Steering Committees. Since becoming effective in 2016, the Project GRM recorded 163 cases with 57 coming from beneficiaries under the Community Livelihood and Agriculture Support. Up to project closure, a total of 161 cases (constituting 99 percent of cases) received by the grievance system were successfully resolved.\n\nThe overall beneficiary satisfaction rating on the project was recorded at 96 percent (with females on the project having a 97 percent satisfaction rate and males having 95 percent).\n\nThe Liberia Agency for Community Empowerment (LACE) was supported to build capacity and ensure that existing structures of YOP remained adequate to support the youth throughout project implementation. Required structures included a dedicated Technical Team to manage implementation at the central level, and a group of service providers (Community Facilitators) to support implementation at the county level. LACE also setup and maintained support to community structures such as Community Oversight Committees that provided oversight on implementation of project activities.\n\nResults from the Satisfaction Survey, which was concluded in early Spring of 2021, put\nthe overall beneficiary satisfaction rating on the project at 96 percent (with females on\nthe project having a 97 percent satisfaction rate
