In addition, Suspilne team regularly undergoes trainings on project management from PMI. \n\n2) Launch of automated workflows at UA:PBC \n\nIn 2023, During the spring of 2023, the team was developing a concept and terms of reference for the procurement of the company target IT landscape and the target BPM system integration scheme.\n\nThe system is to be implemented in three stages. Thanks to Sida support, the team has already been able to complete all the preparatory work and start procurement.\n\nStage 1 is scheduled to be implemented in 2024. \n\nStage 2 is planned to be implemented with the support of Sida through the grant project Support to editorial and digital transformation and development of corporate culture of public service media in Ukraine.\n\nStage 3 is planned to be implemented with the help of the EU\u002FDWA-funded grant project Strengthening Independent Media for a strong democratic Ukraine.\n\nThe overall plan is to implement a single end-to-end information and analytical decision-making system, CRM system, an electronic document processing, automated warehouse accounting, HR portal for employees etc.\n\nThe process of selecting vendor for procurement of digital manamgement system was delayed due to bidders' not being able to meet the ToR requirements, complaints from bidders, and revision of the procurement ToR. This led to the delay in project implementation and the agreement amendment and a no-cost extension. \n\n3) Transformed corporate culture compliant with UA:PBCs values and mission\n\nAt the end of the last reporting period, the company continued to transform its corporate culture after adapting to the first months of the full-scale war. On 28-29 April, members of the Supervisory Board, the Managing Board, and heads of certain structural units of Suspilne Ukraine completed a training on corporate governance by Ukrainian Corporate Governance Institute. On 29-30 May and 13 June, an intensive special course on financial decision-making was held for the Suspilne Ukraine managers in the area of finance. \n\nSuspilne is also conducting a research on corporate culture transformation. According to the preliminary findings, the level of cultural alignment at the Managing Board level changed significantly (three times higher level of implementation of personal values in the organisation and a sense of the right strategy chosen). The full report will be shared with with the final project report.\n\n4) UA:PBC becomes a reliable and more reputable source of information by using information on public opinion.\n\nDuring 2023, the team conducted annual large-scale research that was launched thanks to this Project - the News Trust Barometer. The research was aimed at assessment of how well Suspilne Ukraine meets the needs of its audience, what percentage of people turn to Suspilne Ukraine media assets, and what percentage of trust the company has.\n\nThe main findings of the study are as follows:\n\n• The level of trust of Suspilne audience in Suspilne Ukraine news is high - 84%.\n• Messengers and social media remain the main sources of news consumption.\n• In November, the share of information consumers from digital sources (messengers, YouTube, websites) increased, while the share of news consumers via national and local television decreased.\n• Ukrainian Radio remains the leader in terms of trust in its news, but this level has decreased compared to April.\n• Distrust of news on most TV channels, including the First (Pershyi) TV channel and the local channels of Suspilne Ukraine, has increased.\n• Although the level of awareness of the Telethon's existence has increased and returned to the level of previous waves, the frequency of viewing continues to decline. Trust in the Telethon has also decreased. The reasons for distrust remain the same: the opinion that the Telethon shows only information favourable to the authorities, and silences certain topics, as well as the presence of a significant amount of propaganda.\n• The most popular sources of consumption of Suspilne Ukraine news are social networks (28%), the TV channel (27%) and Suspilne Ukraine news in the Telethon (24%).\n •  In 2023, a study of children's consumption was also conducted through online surveys. Thanks to this research, the team that develops children's broadcasting on Suspilne Ukraine was able to create a relevant products.
