Training on rotating savings and loan reached 692 women producer group members (162 male and 530 female), achieving the planned result.\nFurthermore, 170 producer groups started post production processing and value addition activities, fully achieving the cumulative target. All 80 producer groups planned to start market linkage activities did so. Awareness sessions on economic participation from a gender perspective were conducted in 245 communities, reaching 4,360 participants (1,825 male and 2,535 female). Finally, 7 training manuals for output 3 were developed and training of trainers held, achieving the cumulative target.\n\nOUTPUT 4: KEY STAKEHOLDERS GAIN KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS IN CLIMATE ADAPTATION\nBetween 2022 and 2024, a total of 1,250 youth in target communities were trained or provided exposure to climate change, watershed management and climate resilient agriculture and livestock, fully achieving the cumulative target. The establishment of demonstration\u002Fmodel school gardens exceeded expectations, with 101 schools reached. Similarly, 101 schools received first aid kits and first aid training, meeting the cumulative goal.\nTraining on principles of sustainable agriculture, livestock and livelihood strengthening was conducted for 6,127 Community Based Disaster Management Committees (CBDMC) and Womens Management Committees (WMC) (3,701 male and 2,426 female), over achieving the target. Training on repair and maintenance of project infrastructure and implements reached 3,969 CBDMCs and WMCs (2,434 male and 1,535 female), achieving the planned result.\nIn addition, the project participated in 1 Global event and a number of national level meeting on Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Climate Change to promote the CBED project and share best practices and lessons learnt, meeting the cumulative target.
