It is considered a flagship by the Moldovan partners with\nhigh visibility and impact. During the first two years of implementation it\nmade a substantial contribution to economic growth, employment,\ninnovation and trade:\n\n- Technical assistance, drafting 76 policy initiatives (out of 60 planned during the\ncourse of programme implementation), supporting digital and creative economy,\nITparks, ecommerce, ebusiness, cyber security, eservices for the SMEsector,\ncitizens and future education.\n- Created 11 innovation hubs and accelerators in ICT, digital media, creative\nindustries, fashion, education, agrotech and women entrepreneurship. These\nhubs are managed by Moldovan foundations consisting of private sector branch\norganisations, universities and the public sectors.\n- Developed 135 industrydriven courses implemented by Moldova's universities,\namounting to 405,000 workforce training hours (out of 48,000 planned).  For\ninstance: BA courses in game design, animation, digital media, and short\ncourses in sustainable fashion, robotics, AI and engineering.\n- 7,000 new and\u002For improved employment (out of 15,000). (Note: the FTA chose\nto include in the indicator not only new employment, but also counting those\nemployment that was improved through increase in salaries and\u002For\nenvironmental work conditions.)\n- 649 SMEs (out of 800 planned) assisted in adopting new technologies, improve\nefficiency and implement sustainability practices.\n- The 20222023 energy crisis spurred in turn a demand in the private sector\ntowards green energy investments. The FTA has been providing grants for green\nenergy transition, mainly solar panels, for a number of SMEs.\n- 12 (out of 15) high value markets accessed by Moldovan SMEs in the EU and\nglobally.\n- Mobilized capital of 27 million USD (out of 80 million USD planned) of new\nprivate sector investment and finance.\n- Out of every USD invested by the donors in the FTA programme, 1.4 USD has\nbeen leveraged from private and industry partners, and 1.7 USD from Moldovan\ngovernment partners and other donors.\n\nThe FTA has established collaboration with a large number of key Moldovan\nactors: Eight government ministries and agencies six universities, four local \nand nine global technology partners. Among the global private sector partners\nthat are sponsoring activities, software and providing training are Google, IBM,\nPalo Alto Networks, Cisco, Sony, Epic Games and Draxlmayer Group. FTA has\nalso managed to attract funding from other donors for specific activities and\ninvestments such as the Lichtenstein Development Services, and Western NIS\nEnterprise
