A total of 438 young participants attended a two-day anti-corruption training, with 62.47% being young women, showing strong engagement and commitment. KDI engaged the municipal education directorates and local partners to disseminate the call and encourage participation. The sessions included presentations, discussions, case studies, and exercises to strengthen civic activism.\n\nKDI was unable to implement the planned online anti-corruption training program due to the low level of interest among youth, who prefer online platforms for personal use rather than structured learning. Nevertheless, KDI is dedicated to finding effective ways to engage youth in anti-corruption education through digital platforms.\n\nThroughout 2024, KDI conducted a comprehensive public awareness campaign to educate citizens about their rights and the free legal assistance services offered by its Advocacy and Legal Advice Center (ALAC). A total of 74 cases were received, including labor law violations and whistleblower grievances. There was a significant increase in cases from public institution employees, with 48.6% of submissions coming from women. KDI achieved a 78% resolution rate for these cases, surpassing the target of 40%. The first story-case book, titled When Institutions Remain Silent and Justice is Delayed, was published, showcasing cases reported through ALAC.\n\nDuring this reporting period, KDI closely monitored three laws: the Law on the Protection of Whistleblowers, the Law on the Financing of Political Entities, and legislation related to justice reform, particularly the Law on the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council. Through its Advocacy and Legal Advice Center, KDI published an in-depth report titled (Non) Implementation of the Law on Protection of Whistleblowers in Central Public Enterprises in Kosovo. A roundtable discussion with high-level participants revealed that, despite the existing legal framework, the laws implementation remains superficial and inconsistent.\n\nKDI also launched the report The Wallets of the Main Political Parties in Kosovo 3.0, providing a detailed analysis of the financial reports submitted by political parties for 2023. The roundtable served as a timely platform to examine transparency and regulatory gaps in political party financing.\n\nIn 2024, KDI initiated the Thematic Anti-Corruption Forum, an informal mechanism designed to enhance cooperation between civil society, media, and public institutions in the fight against corruption. The Forum aimed to coordinate advocacy efforts, launch joint initiatives, and develop informed recommendations to strengthen transparency and political integrity in Kosovo. Despite delays and complications, including the temporary withdrawal of some members, KDI continued the process with remaining members and sought new ones to ensure continuity and
