UN Women's support has made it possible to incorporate the principles of equality into the 2023 Constitution (Article 1) and the new electoral law (Article 73). At the same time, over 92% of ministries have been supported in integrating gender into planning and budgeting. The national gender governance system has been strengthened by the creation of a consultation framework, the appointment of gender technical advisors, the upgrading of the skills of 211 gender graduates and the updating of the country's gender profile.\n\n2. Women's economic empowerment\n\nIn the field of women's economic empowerment, 9,149 women's enterprises are competitive thanks to improved access to financing and to public and private markets. UNWM has supported the development of the National Women's Entrepreneurship Development Strategy. The support provided by UNWM has also allowed 41,794 women to reduce their workload through access to production infrastructure and technologies adapted to climate change. UN Women's support has enabled the validation of a road map for reforms around unpaid care work, and a national committee has been set up by ministerial decision to guide and monitor the implementation of the reforms and other ongoing actions.\n\n3. Preventing violence against women and girls\n\nIn the fighting violence against women and girls, UNWM's interventions with institutions and civil society organizations through capacity-building sessions, institutional and community advocacy have led to legal reforms such as the adoption of the new penal code and code of criminal procedure through the introduction of stronger protection against violence. The capacity-building of 770 traditional chiefs and religious leaders has enabled 320 survivors of GBV to be assisted and supported.\n\n4. Women, peace and security\n\nUNWM supports the government and women's organizations in implementing the four pillars of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 in Mali through 15 sectoral plans, 10 regional plans and 26 local and communal plans. A pool of 1,500 trainers (991 women and 509 men) has been created. A virtual national network of women peace ambassadors exists in 10 regions. The humanitarian action has enabled 5,195 vulnerable people, 42% of them women, to benefit from household kits (cooking utensils, water storage, clothing, mosquito nets,
