Some examples of the organisations that used the research and analysis reports included the final report of the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstructions in USA, the UK governments August 2025 visa and immigration guidance, UNHCRs Country Guidance, and Reuters. \nAAN furthermore reported that their website generated 1.1 million visits  in 2025. Most of the users of the content on AANs website were residing in or from the United States and United Kingdom, followed by India, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Germany. AAN also gave various briefings, speaking engagements, and media interviews to disseminate their research and analysis reports. As examples of these kinds of events can be mentioned a talk AANs director gave on Afghan migration to Europe to the London-based Middle East Studies Group and also her participation in an event organised by one of Sidas partner organisation Aghanaid in 2025.
