Overview
Moldova faces several natural hazards including flooding, drought, earthquakes, hailstorms, and extreme heat. These hazards pose challenges to the country’s agricultural sector, infrastructure, and overall wellbeing of the population. While climate change is expected to increase the vulnerability of Moldova, its effects are already being felt in the agricultural sector and the country’s overall livelihood.
