During the time that followed the results are linked to the planned activities, and it is obvious that the project progressed easier when the Swedish partners were at place. This first year focused mostly on workshops on how to strengthen the capacity within KAGE, especially regarding the institution's role in coordinating and supporting and reaching out to the focal points at municipal level.\n\nA few summarized points regarding their activities:\n\n- September 2024: Starting point for the partners to meet and plan, including performing a plan. The work plan and budget was delivered to Sida in late October.\n\n- Learning from earlier long term adviser at other agencies - in meetings also with the embassy.\n\n- The whole staff (around 17 persons) from KAGE visited SGEA in Sweden between 18 and 21 of November, 2024. Meetings and workshops were hold linked to the above goals\u002Fcomponent and areas. During the stay the Kosovo team also had the chance to exchange knowledge with University of Gothenburg, focusing on gender statistics and gender based violence. The Swedish agency shared experienced on how they collaborated with the university and KAGE highlighted, in return, their way of working with academia. The County Administrative Board of Västra Götaland also gave examples on how the integrated gender equality in the their work, especially in public transportation and infrastructure. Thematic workshops were also held in the field of communication and how an agency like KAGE and SGEA can coordinate efficiently.  \n\n- An ISK was performed during late autumn, by SGEA on KAGE, for the planning of forwarding funds. The result showed that KAGE is over all a stable institution that has a good internal system for financial follow-up and control. \n\n- In December 2024 the new Director General at the Swedish authority announced that no money should be forwarded from SGEA to KAGE, which resulted in new ways of handling the budget. \n\n- During late February 2025, the Swedish team travelled to Kosovo - now presenting a new program manager, but also to work with the result framework at place. \n\n- In April the teams from Sweden and Kosovo worked with how to enhance the capacity regarding coordination and integration on gender equality on all levels in the state and municipalities. Documents were drafted, like the MoU between the partner and the risk analysis. The documents were sent to the management to KAGE, but no feed back has been given in return. \n\n- In May 2025 a specific focus was on how to improve the work and reporting when it comes to gender statistics. This work was partly done in collaboration with Statistics Sweden. Special experts from SGEA was at place in Pristina for these activities, with the goal to support KAGE in reporting to the gender equality index at European Institute for Gender Equality
