The Association of Afro-descendant Women of Northern Cauca (ASOM) ledde restaureringskampanjer om plantering av växter för barn och ungdomar. Förbättrad vattenkvalitet och -kvantiteter observerades efter åtgärderna för restaurering av ekosystem. I Mongoliet utbildades omkring 80 nationella intressenter, inklusive representanter från gruvföretag och ministeriet för miljö och turism, i den nya metoden för rehabilitering av mark som förstörts genom brytning av byggmineraler. Denna aktivitet utvecklades och godkändes med stöd av EGP 2022. I Namibia tillhandahöll EGP utbildning i implementeringen av Namibian Mine Closure Framework och i användningen av de relaterade screening- och utvärderingsverktyg som utvecklades 2022. I Namibia gavs också bistånd till myndigheterna i utvecklingen av uppdragsbeskrivningar för miljö- och kulturarvskonsekvensbedömningar av småskalig gruvdrift. Till exempel är ASM en nyckelfaktor för förlust av biologisk mångfald, försämring av naturliga landskap och förorening av luft, vatten och mark.
