Fokusering vad gällande resultat på landnivå för att påskynda framsteg. Genom investeringar i medlemsdrivna samarbetskoalitioner i prioriterade länder avser GNB bidra till förändrade maktstrukturer, stärkt lagstiftning, ökad implementering av befintliga lagar och policys, samt stödjande normförändringar. GNB avser att bidra till mätbara förbättringar vad gällande minskad förekomst av barnäktenskap i 10 utvalda länder.\n\nDe två strategierna är ömsesidigt förstärkande: politiska åtaganden på regional och global nivå är en förutsättning för ökad finansiering av arbete som motverkar barnäktenskap, samt ansvarsutkrävande på nationell nivå. Framsteg på nationell nivå inspirerar och bidrar till best practices för likstämmiga länder samt är en förutsättning för politiskt engagemang och ledarskap på regional och global nivå.\n\nFör att uppnå GNBs övergripande målsättning kommer organisationen att tillämpa fyra ömsesidigt beroende huvudsakliga taktiker:\n\n1. Mobilisera rörelseaktörer som arbetar för att motverka barnäktenskap, kring gemensamma agendor, koordinerade strategier och delat inflytande.\n\n2. Utrusta medlemmar, nationella koalitioner och andra relevanta förändringsaktörer med de verktyg och data som de behöver för att genomföra effektivt evidensbaserat arbete för att motverka barnäktenskap.\n\n3. Påverka och bidra till politiskt engagemang på samtliga nivåer, kombinerat med systemförändringar på landnivå i de kontexter där det har bedömts finnas bäst förutsättningar.\n\n4. Finansiera nationella medlemsledda koalitioner och värna (samt bidra till ökad) internationell finansiering för arbete mot barnäktenskap.\n\nFör verksamhetsår 2026, vilket blir GNBs första år under den nya strategiska inriktningen, kommer fokus ligga på att ansvarsfullt fasa ut arbete som prioriterats i linje med föregående strategiska plan, och börja lägga grunden för den verksamhet som skall generera resultat under denna strategiperiod. Verksamheten som GNB avser att genomföra under 2026 förväntas bidra till följande exempel på resultat:\n\n- Etableringen av ett internationellt kollektiv av minst 10 framträdande ledarprofiler för arbete mot barnäktenskap som bidrar till politiska prioriteringar från minst åtta regeringar, samt stärkt samarbete med minst 10 ledande organisationer.\n\n- Hänförbara initiala resultat på landnivå i Malawi som GNBs första accelerator-land. Förväntade resultat är bland annat policyförbättringar, ökad inhemsk finansiering och implementering av den nationella strategin för att motverka barnäktenskap i minst två distrikt som ett resultat av Girls Not Brides Malawis arbete.\n\n- Framtagna genomförandeplaner för de resterande 9 prioriterade samarbetsländerna (Nigeria, Uganda, Kenya, Burkina Faso, Nepal, Bangladesh, Indien, Mexico och Colombia) med tidiga tecken på policyframsteg och stärkt kapacitet och ökad samordning hos de nationella GNB-koalitionerna.\n\nFör verksamheten i Kenya, Uganda och Bangladesh förväntas följande resultat uppnås av verksamhet som genomförs 2026:\n\nKenya\n\n- Ett effektivt, inflytelserikt och evidens-baserat civilsamhällesdeltagande i färdigställandet och lanseringen av Kenyas nationella strategi mot skadliga sedvänjor.\n\n- Ett stärkt nationellt partnerskap i Kenya (Girls Not Brides Kenya) som representerar 135 civilsamhällesorganisationer, som i utökad utsträckning kan driva gemensamt och koordinerat (mer effektfullt) påverkansarbete och utkräva ansvar gentemot ansvarsbärare i arbetet mot barnäktenskap.\n\nUganda\n\n- Det nationella partnerskapet i Uganda (Girls Not Brides Uganda) som representerar 120 nationella medlemsaktörer och organisationer, har stärkts ekonomiskt och tekniskt för förbättrat ledarskap, kommunikation och effektivare påverkansarbete.\n\n- Stärkt evidens och lärande kring effektivt civilsamhällesdeltagande i genomförandet av Ugandas nationella strategi för att motverka barnäktenskap och ungdomsgraviditeter.\n\nBangladesh\n\n- Ökad kunskap om huvudsakliga drivkrafter, geografiska utsattheter, rådande policyramverk och implementeringsgap samt möjligheter för accelererat arbete för att motverka barnäktenskap i Bangladesh.
