Teachers reported behavioural changes in students, including savings and microenterprise activities.\n\nSavings Groups (SGs): A total of 71 SGs were formed, including 38 youth groups, 19 womens groups, and four community groups. These groups mobilised ZMW 248,500 in loans with a 99.9% repayment rate. Financial literacy training reached 1,752 individuals (70% female), with 81% reporting improved emergency preparedness and business stability.\n\nDisability Inclusion: Cheshire Homes supported 47 SGs for caregivers of children with disabilities, benefiting 980 caregivers (85% female). Additionally, financial education clubs in 27 schools empowered children with disabilities, enhancing household financial resilience.\nInnovation Lab Successes: Impact Hub trained 3,364 TEVET students in financial literacy, while Barefeet Theatre used theatre to educate 796 participants (57% female, 12% with disabilities) on financial topics.\n\nContributions to Systemic Change\n\nPolicy Influence: The integration of National Financial Education Supplementary Curriculum (NFESC) into Zambias national curriculum marked a milestone in institutionalising financial literacy. Advocacy efforts also influenced disability-inclusive policies.\nGender Equity: Couples savings groups improved joint decision-making, with 93.75% of participants reporting shifts in gender norms. Womens agency increased, with 68.75% challenging biases and accessing low-interest loans for businesses\n\nWIN LABS\n\nThe WIN 2 programme established an Innovation Lab where new ideas were developed, tested, refined, and piloted before full-fledged implementation. Successful pilots included: 1. Financial Education Through Theatre implemented by Barefeet. The aim was to promote financial inclusion through the formation of SGs among persons with physical disabilities, and vulnerable young persons and women using theatre for development. 499 participants (204 males, 295 females; 97 with disabilities were reached across Lusaka, Kaoma, and Livingstone. 2. Financial Education and Savings Groups for People with Disabilities by Cheshire Homes. The objectives were to Improve financial literacy and economic empowerment for children with disabilities and their caregivers.
