The achievements are  summarized below.\n\nResult area 1: Inclusive Governance and Democracy: The programme curated and organized regional dialogue platforms christened Jumuika Sikika Mtaani in the Nyanza Region and Wajir Counties, bringing together duty bearers and rights holders. These dialogue platforms were to augment the conversations during the International Day of Democracy (IDD) and the Annual Democracy and Human Rights Festival (ADHRF), both which were aimed at strengthening community voice and agency to promote inclusive governance and democracy. Similarly, the programme witnessed successful youth-led initiatives in Kilifi, Mombasa and Kakamega counties that have contributed to improved service delivery, such as the inclusion of 8 community proposed projects such as the construction of Mirere Primary school classes and staff rooms, rehabilitation of dilapidated classrooms at Mukhonje Primary School, and revival of construction work at Kithengwani and Mrima Mkulu dispensaries.\n\nResult area 2: Community Empowerment, Resilience and Adaptation: ForumCiv in collaboration with other partners carried out initiatives that enhance community resilience and adaptation to negative shocks of climate change. For instance, through a partnership with the Consortium of Disabled Persons Organisation in Kenya, Isiolo Gender\nWatch and the Horn of Africa Institute curated and organized a celebration to mark the World Environment Day in Kajiado and Isiolo counties respectively under the theme Land Restoration, Desertification and Drought Resilience. One of the key results from the conversation in Kajiado was enhanced relationships with the Kajiado County government, with an intention for members of CDPOK benefit from the World Bank- funded FLLoCA project by having their members represented in the Ward Climate Council. Besides this WW:JS!  Programme held a capacity exchange session with the WW:JS! Programme partners on the Intersection of Gender and Climate Change and International Diplomacy and Negotiations on Climate Change, a peer exposure visits for the 11 partners delivering on the climate justice thematic area and various intersections, as well as participating in the COP29 session in Azerbaijan thus enhancing ForumCivs engagement at the international policy level. COP29 helped establish ForumCiv as a climate justice and environment convener, bringing together African CSOs and NGOs working in the space.\n\nResult area 3: Gender Equality:  ForumCiv in collaboration with partner organisations that are women led and gender-equality focused such as CREAW, CWID, RONA and Talanta Africa advocated for an end to GBV and femicide in the country. The advocacy campaign with hashtags #EndFemicide Campaign and #DarkValentine resulted in the Directorate of Criminal Investigation putting up a special hotline number for reporting of cases as well as a special team to investigate femicides cases. The campaigns got a further boost when the Chief Justice of the Republic of Kenya undertook to ensure that there are courts handling trauma-informed sexual and gender-based violence cases. Besides this, the programme also held a training for 34 partners and staff on Gender Equality in Nairobi. The capacity exchange session highlighted areas such as Gender Mainstreaming, GBV and Gender Focused Budgeting. As a result of the training, partners undertook to re-evaluate the gender responsiveness of their respective projects and\norganizations.\n\nResult area 4: Networking, linkages, and movement building, and Capacity Development:  The WW:JS! Programme developed platforms that encourage the unification of voices and the establishment of movements. Mos of the partners utilized these platforms during the period to create coalitions and networks aimed at strengthening their initiatives. For instance, the capacity-building opportunities offered, including the CEOs Forum have improved organizational visibility and enabled partners, such as CREAW, to engage in prestigious events like the Seventh Annual Scientific Conference on Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR).",{"title":310,"description":312,"measure":314,"ascending":206},{"narrative":311},"Not
