Outcome 2 (Improved sustainable food and nutrition security): Household dietary diversity improved to an average score of 7.5 during the lean season (94% of target), driven by nutrition sensitive agriculture, urban agriculture, and school linked food production.\n\niii. Outcome 3 (Enhanced inclusive livelihood development): Average annual household income from income generating activities increased to ETB 65,000, surpassing the target (113%), with strong participation of women and youth through value chains, VSLAs, and model villages.\n\niv. Outcome 4 (Increased climate adaptation and mitigation): 80% of households adopted at least three climate smart agriculture practices, contributing to major crop yield increases (100168% of targets) and expanded access to irrigation and green energy technologies.\n\nv. Outcome 5 (Reduced resource based conflicts through gender sensitive peace building): Reported resource based conflict incidents fell to 4 cases in 12 months, representing an 88% reduction from baseline, supported by community dialogue, livelihood diversification, and strengthened local conflict resolution mechanisms.\n\nB. On systemic changes taking hold\n\nAssessed from a 2025 vantage point (based on the 2025 Narrative Report), the NSSID program is seen to be contributing to the following change processes:\n\n(i)  Embedding climate-smart & regenerative agriculture into government systems;\n(ii) Transforming market structures to link smallholders with private sector and export markets;\n(iii) Replacing informal
