The investment generation is to be realized 2 years post-completion of the project.\n\nComponent 3: Transforming the Agribusiness Sector\n\nThis pillar aims to unlock value chains in the agribusiness sector by implementing regulatory reforms. The goal is to promote competition and increase private sector participation in the seed, fertilizer, and agrochemicals market by implementing regulatory reforms to unlock investment in the agribusiness value chain, improving access to quality inputs, and promoting private sector engagement.\n\nThe challenges in the sector require regulatory reform to unlock investment in agribusiness value chains\n\nImprove Access to Quality and Sustainable Supply of Inputs:Implement policies that ensure the availability of high-quality seeds, fertilizers, and other essential inputs. This can be achieved through public-private partnerships and by encouraging private sector investment in input supply chains.\n\nEstablish Laws and Regulations to Promote Private Sector Engagement:Develop and enforce regulations that create a conducive environment for private sector participation in agricultural supply markets.
