De två\ntransformationsinitiativ (TIs) som utarbetades av IGE fellows 2023\u002F24 användes som underlag för utvecklandet av dessa två viktiga nationella dokument.\nEfter avslutad ITP utbildning rapporterar flera IGE alumner att de börjat arbeta närmare akademin, vilket t.ex. resulterade i en gemensam forskninsstudie med\ntitlen \"Towards lowcarbon development pathways in Ethiopias transport sector\".\n\nKenya\nEn workshop hölls där representanter från civilsamhället, samhällsföreningar, privata sektorn och akademin, som har en roll inom energieffektivitet och\nutsläppsminksning, deltog.  Workshopen resulterade i en rapport med titeln \"Stakeholders Perspective on Reforms for Reduced Biomass Dependency\".\n\nRwanda\nUnder utvecklingen av deras TI hade eldriven transport en viktig utveckling. Vissa reformer föreslogs, såsom att stoppa nyregistrering av motorcyklar med\nförbränningsmotor (ICE) inom kollektivtrafiken i Kigali. Detta ledde till att man beslutade att från och med 2025 enbart använda eldrivna motorcyklar inom\nkollektivtrafiken. För befintliga ICEmotorcyklar infördes krav på årlig mekanisk och utsläppsinspektion. Alla dessa åtgärder har koppling till energieffektivitet och\nminskade utsläpp.  En doktorand på Göteborgs universitet blev intresserad av ämnet och samarbetar med stipendiaterna inför en publicering av en vetenskaplig artikel om e-motorcyklar i Rwanda.\n\nTanzania\nIGE Tanzania identifierade transformationsinitiativ för att påskynda övergången till hållbar energi genom att främja användningen av energieffektiva tekniker.\nEfter IGE:s utbildning om energieffektivitet erkände intressenterna IGE:s roll och de blev formellt inbjudna av byggnadsministeriet för att delta i utarbetandet\noch formulerandet av kapitlet om miljö och kapitlet om gröna byggnader i deras National Building Codes. Detta som en direkt konsekvens av intressenternas\nworkshop om inkluderande grön ekonomi.\n\nUganda\nNågra av IGEstipendiaterna för 2023 och 2024 ingick i det team som utformade den nyligen godkända NDP (National Development Plan) IV (2025\n2030), och de flesta av de åtgärder som krävs för att stödja övergången till ren matlagning och emobilitet har inkluderats i NDP IV, såsom ökad elproduktion,\ninstallation av laddningsstationer och nollskattesats för elfordon. \nSom en del av kapitlet om hållbar energiutveckling i NDP IV, drev IGE stipendiaterna på för att installera laddningsstationer över hela landet för att\nuppmuntra användningen av emobilitet. Medverkade i olika medier, inklusive TV, radio och tryckta medier, för att öka medvetenheten om behovet av att övergå till emobilitet som ett sätt att
