Financial and editorial sustainability of 11 key media partners (regional and national) was strengthened during the year.\n\nAssociation of Independent Press supported Audiovisual Council in monitoring the compliance of audiovisual media service providers with the Central Electoral Commision`s Regulation on coverage of elections during the presidential elections and constitutional referendum. \n\nFollowing the Specific Objective 2: Strengthen the media literacy and critical thinking of Moldovan\nyouth and vulnerable groups, Independent Journalism Center (IJC) completed the revision of media education textbooks. Media literacy and critical thinking was enhanced among youth and vulnerable groups through textbook revision, digitization, and Braille translation.\n\n\u002F2025-2026\u002F\nUnder Strategic Objective 1, regional outlets expanded their ability to serve underserved and strategically sensitive communities, including Gagauzia, the Security Zone and districts exposed to disinformation.\nNational level media actors enhanced investigative, explanatory and multimedia production, adopting new practices such as AI readiness, generative AI workflows, improved video storytelling and strengthened digital infrastructure.\nThe education system increased its capacity to deliver institutionalised and inclusive media literacy, with updated textbooks in nationwide use and the launch of a bilingual Digital Media Education Platform. Teachers and students gained new capabilities to access structured, modern media literacy content, marking a meaningful shift toward  system wide integration of critical thinking skills.\n\nUnder Strategic Objective 2, media literacy became more inclusive for vulnerable groups, with Braille textbooks and 15 sign language video lessons enabling students with visual and hearing impairments to
