These efforts were guided by the Strategic Plan 20212025 and annual activity plans, which define specific studies, publications, advocacy actions, and capacity-building initiatives.\n\nKey results\n\n The organisation implemented 22 of 23 planned multiannual research projects across five thematic lines and produced 63 publications, addressing nationally relevant issues such as economic development models, land and natural resource governance, climate change, biodiversity, extractive industries, post conflict dynamics and youth integration throughout Mozambique. OMR attained high public visibility, with its research cited 241 times in national and international media, 195,830 website visits, growing social media reach, and the successful organization of the 2025 Annual Conference, which brought together 503 participants and was opened by the country Head of Cooperation, reinforcing OMRs role as a key platform for national policy dialogue.
