Verksamhetens omfattning framgår av följande siffror för verksamheten 2025: webbplatsen besöktes av 174 000 användare (44%), 1260 personer var anmälda till SVRIs onlinekurser, 20 publikationer och 44 bloggar släpptes, 31 webbinarier hölls och SVRI har mer än 50 000 följare på LinkedIn (25% från 2024).\n\nGenom utlysningar fördelas ca 10 forskningsprojekt per år. 2025 beviljades projekt i in Colombia, Malawi, Mauritius, Mongoliet, Sydafrika, Sri Lanka, Tanzania och Ukraine. Forskningens fokus omfattade bland annat tech faciliterat våld, våld inom högre utbildning och våld mot hbtqi personer. De forskare som erhåller finansiering genomgår en 5 veckor lång skräddarsydd utbildning som förberedelse.\n\nFärdigställda rapporter från 2025 omfattar; evidens angående hur tech faciliterat våld påverkar kvinnor med funktionsvariationer (Stellenbosch University, Sydafrika) och Armeniens första kartläggning av sexuell exploatering och övergrepp mot barn (Astra Foundation Armenien).\n\n2025 genomfördes två utlysningar till vilka det inkom totalt 866 ansökningar, vilket är en ökning med 60 % jämfört med föregående år. Merparten av de 10 beviljade forskningsprojekten har fokus på GBV inom högre utbildningsinstitutioner, särskilt inom STEM, andra behandlar ämnen som: samband mellan VAW och VAC i Indien, polyvictimisering bland transkvinnor i Vietnam och kvinnors säkerhet på offentliga platser i Peru.\n\nSVRI bidrar till att fylla evidens och metodutvecklingsgap på strategiskat viktiga områden. Ett partnermöte som samlade samlade 37 forskare, yrkesverksamma, finansiärer och politiker i Nairobi i februari 2026 identifierade att avsaknaden av ett gemensamt ramverk för mätning av sexuellt våld mot barn är fältets mest kritiska strukturella svaghet. De flesta insatser på detta området utvärderas för närvarande mot kunskaps- och attitydresultat snarare än om våldet faktiskt minskar, vilket betyder att forskning inte säkert kan fastställa om verksamhet ger resultat. SVRIs har nu i uppdrag att utveckla metoder för relevant uppföljning i låg och medelinkomstländer.\n\nSVRI håller samman flera kunskapsnätverk (communities of practice) och i nätverket för tech faciliterat våld ingår ca 1000 personer från 581 olika organisationer och instituioner. Under rapporteringsperioden hölls sex policydialoger inom nätverket i samarbete med UN Women, som täckte ämnen såsom globala standarder och åtaganden, moderering av onlineinnehåll, engagemang med manosfären, säkerhet vid design och mätningens etik. En sammanställning av framväxande globala metoder för att förebygga och hantera TFGBV publicerades också tillsammans med UN Women. Denna publikation fyller viktiga kunskapsluckor på området och samlar information om initiativ, program, lagstiftning och ramverk i en lättillgänglig
