These are expected to have standards setting normative effect for the sector and also contribute to verifiable evidence on the media as such is not systematically performed by other actors in the region. This means that future polices can be better informed and reputation attacks mitigated based on facts. The findings can also inform the grantees self-promotion to audience and investors.\n\nDuring the inception period, IFPIM has as an effect of the above been able to launch three calls for media support in the Estern Partnership region. This is already two more calls addressing the region than the year before the partnership with Sida.  IFPIM already provide support to more than twice as many media outlets in the region compared to before this agreement, and in time for the upcoming parliamentary elections in Moldova late September, IFPIM had more than ten media partners in the country. \n\nThe total number of grantees in the recent reporting period was 39 (28 funded under Sida conditions. Outcome 1). \nGrantee economic resilience improved measurably across the portfolio, with 80% of outlets increasing both total and non-grant revenue, 80% retaining or growing staff, and 85% covering core costs despite the contextual funding decline 2025. (Outcomes 6 and 7). \nContent monitoring launched mid-year, established a baseline across five public interest dimensions; most sampled content met core professional standards (Outcome 5). \nAudience
