Senare under 2024, publicerade Repsol en människorättsrapport där de förklarade sina åsikter om de åtgärder som vidtogs efter oljeutsläppet. Dessutom inledde advokatbyrån Pogust Goodhead en grupptalan mot Repsol i Nederländerna, som förhoppningsvis kommer att resultera i kompensation för några av de 34.000 fiskare som drabbats. \n\nFair Finance Southern Africa fördjupade under året i hög grad sitt engagemang med både statliga organ och aktörer inom finanssektorn. Dessa insatser ledde till betydande förbättringar inom offentlig policy och institutionella metoder. Genom koalitionen dialog med olika finansiella institut de senaste åren så bidrog man i södra Afrika till totalt 17 policyförbättringar inom områdena klimatförändringar, korruption, miljö, mänskliga rättigheter, elkraftsproduktion, jämställdhet och transparens. \n\nEn ny version av the Financial Exclusion Tracker publicerades.
