According to the 2025 results report, the Mission played a facilitating and confidence-building role in nine dialogue tables and socio-juridical conversation spaces between the Government and armed groups, supporting processes related to de-escalation, humanitarian actions and territorial transformation. This contributed to improved conditions for dialogue and implementation in conflict-affected territories, including support to humanitarian measures such as the release of kidnapped persons, protection actions for communities, recovery of bodies and coordination around local peace-related agreements.\n\nMAPP\u002FOAS also appears to have contributed to changes in institutional behavior and local response capacity. In Guaviare, the Mission supported humanitarian access and institutional coordination in areas affected by armed confrontations, including through joint work with the Ombudsmans Office and other actors. The report indicates that this helped enable territorial humanitarian responses, supported the recovery of bodies and release of kidnapped persons, and promoted the establishment of a community dialogue table in the Inírida river area. An important result was also MAPP\u002FOAS´s continued positioning as an impartial and trusted intermediary in critical situations, which appears to have strengthened both institutional presence and dialogue between communities and authorities.\n\nA further example of results beyond delivery is the Missions use of monitoring for policy and behavioral change. Based on monitoring of contamination by explosive remnants in San Lucas and Fátima, MAPP\u002FOAS facilitated coordination between national and local actors and supported mine-risk education for 240 participants. The report notes that the local Victims Roundtable subsequently adjusted its 2026 Action Plan to include mine-risk education as a priority, while Descontamina Colombia replicated the workshops in other communities. The reported absence of new victims after the interventions suggests that MAPP\u002FOAS´s analysis and convening role contributed both to safer community practices and to more responsive local planning.\n\nThe Mission also reported results in strengthening the capacities of both public institutions and civil society to participate in peacebuilding processes. Capacity strengthening supported the reactivation of Territorial Peace, Reconciliation and Coexistence Councils, strengthened civil society participation in dialogue spaces, and improved knowledge related to women, peace and security and democratic inclusion. The report further highlights that 14 individuals trained in Pasto were subsequently appointed as Peace Managers, which is a concrete example of how strengthened capacities translated into new roles in peace-related processes. More broadly, the scale of engagement across territories suggests that MAPP\u002FOAS contributed to strengthening participation ecosystems and the ability of local actors, including women and other underrepresented groups, to influence peace-related processes and public policy.\n\nFinally, MAPP\u002FOAS´s recommendations continued to carry institutional weight, with a substantial share reportedly adopted or under implementation, indicating that MAPP\u002FOAS´s analytical and advisory role continued to influence how state actors prioritise, coordinate and adapt their responses to
