The progra will help GRZ to realize this vision by building on progress made through the SCT. Consolidating gains achieved in the SCT, the program will shift focus toward enhancing the broader social protection system\n\n(2) Leveraging Social Protection for climate change adaptation and food and nutrition security through:\n\nStrengthening Shock-Responsiveness, including Anticipatory Action: Enhance the protective capacity of the social protection system by strengthening coordination between humanitarian and social protection sector and building the mechanisms for anticipatory action, enabling pre-emptive and early interventions to mitigate the impact of shocks;\n\nClimate-Smart Linkages and Graduation Pathways: Systematically linking FSP and SCT households with persons with disabilities to existing productive opportunities and climate-resilient livelihood resources for enhanced productivity and food security.\n\nThe second output will ensure that social protection not only lifts households out of poverty but also equips them to withstand the crises and continue building resilience through shocks.
