During the reporting period, two new locations were identified and started the ABA process: Deir ezZor and the second new ABA area: Qalaat Al Madiq, (Hama).\n\nActed also facilitated follow-up workshops in existing ABA locations (Tel Tamer, Maaret Masrin, and Mansura) to review progress, reassess changing needs, and reprioritize interventions considering return movements and evolving context. These processes continued to strengthen community ownership, accountability, and coordination around localized recovery planning. In Dara, Acted expanded the geographic and thematic boundaries of the existing ABA area. Finally, a closeout workshop was completed in Jurneyyeh in June 2025 (an area supported under the previous Sida-funded program). \n\nPartnership was developed with six different local organisations including training and support for local organizations to take part in all steps of the\nABA process as direct facilitators and implementors. \n\nUnder the second objective livelihoods were implemented through Cash-for-Work (CfW), MSME support, vocational training, and agriculture assistance,\nsupporting a total of 266 households, 36% women headed households, overall benefitting 1,600 individuals. CfW interventions were completed or remain\nongoing in Tel Tamer, Deir ezZor, and Maaret Masrin, strengthening household income for vulnerable groups, while improving community wellbeing and access to services through the rehabilitation of public assets such as schools, roads, gardens, public spaces, and communal infrastructure. MSME support was launched in Tel Tamer, reaching 60 entrepreneurs, 20% women across agricultural and nonagricultural sectors through business management training\nand cash grants. In Dara, preparatory work was completed for an expanded MSME package, with targets revised upward from 45 to 65 businesses following\na joint review with EPDC. Acted also advanced agricultural resilience programming. In Mansura, 60 farmers, ca 30% female, received practical training on climate-smart agriculture, efficient resource management, greenhouse and polytunnel farming, integrated pest management, and crop production, followed by distribution of agricultural kits. Preparatory work was also completed for vegetable value chain support, farmers associations, one communal productive asset rehabilitation, and Agricultural Technical Department support across multiple ABAs to begin in 2026 and 2027.\n\nUnder the third objective 3 critical WASH assets were rehabilitated and 2 public infrastructure assets, supporting a total of 6,250 individuals. In Tel Tamer, Acted completed rehabilitation and solarization of Ein Eltineh Water Station, benefiting appr. 3,600 individuals through improved continuity and reliability of water supply. Acted also rehabilitated WASH facilities in Saif Al Dawla School and Tal Shamran School, benefiting approximately 623 students and 27 teachers, alongside hygiene promotion sessions and distribution of 650 hygiene kits. Additionally, Acted rehabilitated and\u002For upgraded two assets in Tel Tamer to improve access to basic services, addressing critical needs and contributing to the overall wellbeing of communities, reaching at least 2,000 individuals. Support was also provided to local Technical Departments to improve sustainability of service delivery. In Tel Tamer, municipal authorities received vehicle spare parts and maintenance equipment to restore waste collection, sewage, water trucking, transport, and emergency response capacity. In Dara, EPDC worked closely with the Water Corporation to prepare future solarized water infrastructure and operation and maintenance
