The contribution's overall objective is to address critical trade facilitation challenges across three major African trade corridors: Abidjan-Lagos corridor, the Berbera corridor, and the LAPSSET corridor. In this regard, the programme aims to streamline Customs operations through simplifying, standardising, and harmonising procedures, and information to improve trade inclusivity, improve trade infrastructure and strengthen regional trade policy harmonization with the specific objective of contributing to increased cross-border trade and poverty reduction across the target corridors.
