Swedish aid aims to help people in low-income countries. Aid activities can be carried out within a single country, as well as at the regional or global level. Government agencies report how much funding reaches different countries and regions. The countries and regions eligible to receive aid are listed by the OECD/DAC.

39.45% of the total aid was directed to aid activities in these countries, while 55.04% was allocated to poverty reduction at the global level.

8.37% of the total aid went to Ukraine, and 1.94% went to Congo (the Democratic Republic of the).
