IUCN managed to conduct Feasibility Study and procuded Feasibility Report, which was a prerequsite for the development of a full proposal for the Green Climate Fund, which is quite an elaborate and comprehensive process. Finalization of technical (feasibility) studies that inform and accompany the submission of the funding proposal: feasibility study and related annexes, financial and economic analysis, gender analysis, stakeholder analysis, environmental and social assessment, legal due diligence. IUCN developed four version of detailed funding proposals, currently IUCN submitted the revised (4rd version) funding proposal to GCF for review by the Climate and Investment Committee. If timely approved by the Committee, the full package of the proposal will be presented to GCF Board Meeting. In the event of a late review and approval or prevailing major outstanding comments from GCF, the proposal will be revised and/or tabled to the GCF Board Meeting in another date which will be decided by GCF Secretariat. All these procedures increases the chances/likelihood that the objective will be achieved. Securing of consortium partners cofinancing commitments: Ministry of Agriculture (Mainland and Zanzibar), Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries, Ministry of Blue Economy, Tanzania Meteorological Agency, IUCN Tanzania, UN Women, SNV and CARE.
