The Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine and Israel (EAPPI) works with preventive presence and protection, monitoring of Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law violations, increased accountability and advocacy. It was initiated in 2002 as a response to the request from Heads of Churches for international presence in the occupied territory to respond to the escalation of violence and to contribute to improved accountability.
