Overview
The intervention aims at guaranteeing the right to freedom of expression for the strengthening and preservation of democratic institutions and the rule of law in Latin America, this will be done by working towards the following three objectives: 1. To promote fundamental freedoms essential to democracy. 2. To promote the safety of journalists and a plural and diverse media. 3. To advance the protection of digital rights for the exercise of freedom of expression online.
