Overview
CISST aims to contribute is to bring the prison conditions in Türkiye closer to human rights and universal values. The prerequisites for this long-term change are that the responsible bodies, particularly the Ministry of Justice, fulfil their responsibilities stemming from international human rights standards more vigorously to make Türkiye a country where rights violations in prisons are effectively prevented and prisoners enjoy their human rights in full, and the stakeholders and advocates act…
