Openaid.se is managed by Sida, the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency. However, it is not only information from Sida that is reported on Openaid. Statistics and payments from Sida, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other agencies handling funds in the Swedish Government’s Expenditure Area 7 ’International Aid’ form the basis for the data presented on Openaid. Sida has developed Openaid on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, within the framework of the transparency guarantee
Partner data
Sida's aid is always provided in collaboration with other actors. Sida's role is to mediate financial resources and develop competence, while the partner organisations drive and implement the projects. In some cases, a Sida agreement partner has its own partners in subsequent stages who implement aid projects where onward funding takes place. Sida requires that all partners at all levels make information about their own projects implemented with the help of funding from Sida available online. The purpose is to more easily track how aid funds are used and mediated at several levels. On this page, you can search among the partner organisations' reported projects. You can see which actors are involved, costs, payments, results and which of Sida's interventions finance the project.
