Open data about Swedish international aid

Responsible agency

Openaid.se shows data for the authorities and ministries that manage Swedish development aid. Some authorities process and pay out aid to implementing organisations, while others contribute their expertise, for example through seconded staff. The aid is also managed by other types of actors than authorities and ministries, such as Swedfund, Business Sweden, and municipalities.

    Openaid.se is managed by Sida, the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency. However, it is not only information from Sida that is reported on Openaid.     Sida collects data about projects from the agencies and ministries that control funds within the Swedish Government's Expenditure Area 7: International Aid. Sida collects data in different formats and at different times. Sidas's own information is collected through the internal systems used by the agency in its daily work. The data then goes through a process before it is distributed.
