Data is shown for activities that strives towards goal 16: Peace, justice and strong institutions. Data is available and presented from 2019 onwards. If an activity started before 2019, data will also be showed for previous years. Goal 16 consists of various targets that are also reported at Openaid.

There is 17 Sustainable Development Goals with 169 associated targets. These together constitute Agenda 2030, a plan adopted by the UN member states in 2015. Agenda 2030 means that all countries together take on global development, both nationally and globally.

Broaden and strengthen the participation of developing countries in the institutions of global governance.

By 2030, provide legal identity for all, including birth registration.

16.10 Ensure public access to information and protect fundamental freedoms

Ensure public access to information and protect fundamental freedoms, in accordance with national legislation and international agreements.

Strengthen relevant national institutions, including through international cooperation, for building capacity at all levels, in particular in developing countries, to prevent violence and combat terrorism and crime.
