In 2019 the results set according to the Activity Plan were achieved, except the child protection component that was discussed by the project's team but not implemented yet because of lack of knowledge in this particular sector. The project's team initiated a strategic dialogue with "Terre des Hommes", a local NGO, to further develop the methodology and integrate it into the activities. The 12 communities part of the project were actively involved in relevant activities during the entire year. The project's team was capacitated through relevant planning workshops and trainings. A specific gender workshop was organised in the fall with UN Women's support to capacitate the project's team in understanding the equality's values, gender perspective, negative stereotypes, etc. The overall conclusion is that this effort should continue and more interventions in gender mainstreaming should be taken. The "football festivals" were organised in all 12 communities including the TN/Gagauzia region. In all communities the local police and public authorities were very actively involved, specific activities being organised for the community (on public security, traffic rules, etc.). 7 communities reported that School + Sport + Police on their own initiative have made several joint regular after-school initiatives reaching out to children of parents who have immigrated with the purpose to provide them some structure in life and get them back to school etc. All the activities were carried out based on the informal network created in OFFS. New people were recruited in the team: a new project coordinator in "Cross Culture" and a new technical director in the Moldovan Football Federation. The Embassy met with them and maintained a permanent communication in strategic questions during the year.
