Result
Some examples of results during the first year of implementation the TSP programme are, emergency assistance for basic needs to 600 households (3000 persons), cash transfer to vulnerable people of approx. 1,2 million SEK, safe space provision to approx. 9 000 vulnerable youth, women and vulnerable persons, 6 market assessments for livelihood, business development services to 135 smallholder farmers and entrepreneurs, improved market opportunities for approx. 200 small-businesses and inputs/vouchers to approx 5 500 smallholder farmers and service providers.
The Goal of the intervention is To strengthen resilience of Syrian communities through a multi-sectoral approach. The Project Objectives are: 1) Conflict-affected communities meet their basic needs. 2) Youth, women, and most vulnerable are better protected and have a decreased use of negative coping mechanisms. 3) Vulnerable women and men have increased livelihood opportunities through market-driven interventions. 4) Conflict-affected communities (re)build inter-communal relationships. 5) Inter-agency NGO coordination mechanisms are enhanced through timely and quality humanitarian analysis.
