The overall purpose of Save the Children's information and communication program 2022-2023, relates to Save the Children's global goals "that children in the world are protected, survive and receive education". The goal of the information and communication program in Sweden is to; "Increase knowledge and strengthen engagement in Swedish society for children in developing countries" "Increase knowledge in Swedish society about how rights-based aid work leads to lasting changes in children's lives" As part of the implementation of their information and communication program, Save the Children contributes to increased knowledge of Agenda 2030 in the Swedish public, especially focusing on the cross-cutting perspectives gender equality and climate change.
