Minority Rights Group core support 2021-2024

Minority Rights Group (MRG) is a global international rights-based organisation, headquartered in London, and with local regional offices in Kampala, Budapest and Brussels. MRG was established in 1960 and initially worked for Roma rights. The organisation is today a guiding global player as well as a champion and defender of the rights of minorities and indigenous peoples. They operate globally, regionally and at national/local level in some 50 countries. In total, MRG interacts with about 150 organizations that form part of their network. The purpose of MRG's activities is to operate in different ways and with different methods for the full respect of human rights, for discriminated groups and people; regardless of ethnic, religious or linguistic background.
