Result
INSO has successfully responded to increasing demands by expanding its operational scope and establishing additional regional offices. Its broad presence in Burkina Faso and its leadership role in key humanitarian coordination forums underscore its operational strength. INSO is an active member of several key platforms, including the United Nations Humanitarian Air Service (UNHAS) Steering Committee and the Access Working Group. Over the course of the program, 189 humanitarian partners have benefited from INSO's information and analysis services. The organization consistently exceeded project targets and delivered significant results in both service delivery and capacity building. The latest NGO user satisfaction survey (2024) highlights continued trust and appreciation for INSOs services, with a global satisfaction rate of 99.02%, matching the high satisfaction seen in 2023. Goal 1 Information, Analysis and Advice Concerning the Security Information and analysis Services: INSO delivered 893 flash alerts and 705 updates, 455 security reports and 89 updates, published 196 weekly incident lists, 89 bi-weekly security reports, 13 quarterly reports and 28 regional analytical reports. Concerning security coordination Meetings: -1 153 safety roundtables were held during the entire project period with an average attendance of 15 participants. These meeting target NGO personell in charge of Security management. -49 country director monthly meetings were organized during the project period with an average attendance of 30 participants. -45 orientation briefings were delivered during the implementation period. INSO estimates the attendance to around 10 person per session, ie in total 450 participants. INSO's orientation breifing are being held monthly to newly arrived expatrates staff in Burkina Faso. Concerning Independent security Advice (on-demand services) INSO delivered during the implementation period 1253 on demand services (412 delivered in 2024 compared to 218 in 2023). According to the evaluation survey conducted by INSO, the flash alerts and on demand services are the most appreciated service by partner NGO, supporting them in the daily planning of field missions. Goal 2 prepardness and response This result concerns the training component, which includes various modules on NGO security management, crisis management, Hostile environment individual safety training and Hostile environment First- aid-Training, field travel safety and humanitarian negotiations. INSO delivered 202 training sessions over the complete intervention period, and in these, 2,534 aid workers were trained. (In 2024, 24 security trainings were carried out with a participation of 625 humanitarian staff including 170 women (27%). During 2024 INSO delivered a new course "Essentials of Humanitarian Access" (EHA), reaching 16 participants, with very good response from participants. An impact study, conducted in September 2024 on the training the trainer program, found that the train the trainer approach is an efficient capacity-building tool in humanitarian security management. On-demand advisory services have had a notable increase in request for security assessments, briefings and situational analysis. This shows that INSO is trusted among its partners and valuable expertise. INSO's membership base has increased across the years, the NNGO has increased from 2021 (17) to 2024 (29) NNGO, which is an important result as these organisations have the most risks as front-line actors.

Expected Results: R1. Information, Analysis and Advice Credible, reliable, and high-quality safety information, analysis and advice is provided collectively to NGOs in a timely and appropriate manner. R2. Preparedness & Response - NGOs are supported in their own preparedness, security, and crisis management capacity.
