Results Oxfam works through two different implementing partner organisations; Al Ghad (partner that focus on Social Cohesion) and Sewan (partner that focus on gender), two partners that where identified and chosen during the inception period of the project. Results so far are on an output level. - The project has started different educational programmes within both agribusiness but also in normative dialogue. Sida visited classes within these courses in Mosul in December 2021. The activities made a valid impression and Oxfam seemed to have found suitable implementing partners as well as participants to the courses at hand. Attendees on these courses expressed that they where satisfied with the curriculum and seemed to value what they where taught within them. In the first annual report, covering the first year of the project (1 October 2020 - 31 December 2021), some examples of the reported results included: - Oxfam has been successful in setting up partnerships with Directorate of Agriculture (DoA) in the selected areas of operations, which is shown by a Memorandum of Understandings, which also means that DoA has a role to play in implementation of Farmer Field Schools that can have a positive impact on sustainability. - Training of trainers has been conducted, both in relation to Farmer Field Schools, and the implementation of the Gender Action Learning System. GALS has started implementation together with Oxfam's local partner SEWAN. The target for people reached by GALS has been increased due to lessons learnt during studies conducted and thus GALS will continue to be implemented during 2022 to reach more beneficiaries. - Selection of value chains and identification of private sector companies that are now part of activities related to women's friendly skill development has been conducted, with full roll-out of activities to be conducted during 2022.
