Examples of results from Annual Review Meeting held August 30th, 2024: R1 : The 05 Local Resource Poles and the Technopôle of Bamako have been created to facilitate and support the identification, development and implementation of green employment initiatives. Outcome 1: •A map of regions and players, as well as data on existing initiatives, are available. •An environmental and social impact study and a gender analysis •A gender analysis has been followed by a gender action plan •Five local resource centers have been set up and are operational in the region, and a technopole in Bamako •158 green initiatives supported, including 40% for women in the 5 PRL and TP •150 market gardening cooperatives equipped with solar pumping kits (installation in progress) •7 innovative prize and 3 green action to support pilote initiatives Initiative examples: •150 women's cooperatives equipped with solar pumps • •The Niamakoro-Bamako urban greenhouse • •E- mobility with 10 women entrepreneursh program R2 / Outcome 2: •Digital tools are functional to facilitate cluster management work (Microsoft 360) •Project staff (PRL and TP) have the skills to use digital tools effectively •Carrying out a study on the inclusion of climate change aspects in financing Initiative examples: •Approximately 1170 registered participants •32 exhibitors • 16 themed conferences • A list of 7 award-winning innovative and ecological projects, 40% of them women, is available R3 / Outcome 3: •Campaign materials (videos, podcasts, quizzes, etc.) are distributed and accessible. •A total of 26 awareness campaigns organized locally and nationally •A digital awareness and information campaign #CoolAvecLaNature at national level •Six (7) educational modules designed •432 media players (journalists) Initiative examples: •170 teachers and 7,500 schoolchildren • •428 national participants, including 113 women (26%), and 9 conferences for FENA 20217 • •500 people reached by FENA caravans in 2023 • •59 members of RESO-Climat and other CSOs trained, including 24 women (40%)
The contribution aims at strengthening the climate resilience and social cohesion of communities. It includes Two Specific Objectives- SO- (outcomes) mentioned below: SO1: The resilience capacities of local partners and their communities are further strengthened through the creation of decent work and environmental protection against the effects of climate change. SO 2: The inclusive dialog framework is strengthened around resilience, climate justice and social cohesion at local, regional and national level.
