Objective A: Strengthening social and psychological rehabilitation of torture survivors and refugees through professional development of HRFT and RCC caregivers. This objective has been achieved through the exchange meetings (in person and online) between SRC and HRFT where the focus is capacity building of the staff at both organisations, mainly within clinical, psychosocial and social work methods. This is an important opportunity for both organisations to share experiences, working methods such as presentations on treatment and rehabilitation methods to improve the capacity of both organisations. At these in person exchange visits. There have also been possibilities to meet with other organisations working in the field Objective B: Strengthening the rights to rehabilitation and access to rehabilitation services for torture survivors and refugees traumatized by war. There has been collaboration and networking with different stakeholders, actors and organisations in this field to work on the rights to rehabilitation and access to rehabilitation services. This has been done through conferences, joint intervention/presentation at international conferences and meetings. They have started 4 implementations of small scale projects to work on this objective with a special focus on vicarious trauma, and those involved in supporting survivors. An extensive literature review was done, exploring existing reasearch and knowledge. The exchange visit taking place in Sweden May 2023 laid a foundation for this.
