Result
This programme has shown clear and interesting results. One example is here given: MINORITY COMMUNITIES AND YOUTH National minority youth highlighted the value of meeting politicians for information exchange and establishing horizontal linkages. The project has facilitated interaction between local activists and political party youth, resulting in the establishment of networks and collaboration. Around 550 ethnic and religious minority youth were trained, for example: -36 high school students from a southern region attended 320 hours of intensive calculus training - 40 students and 8 school principals participated into two study visits to Tbilisi - 54 students from 2 schools received prizes for showing the best results in quiz competition and -10 regional small grants issued and implemented contributing to inclusive, transparent and accountable policy making.
The aim of the intervention is to improve good governance practices and to introduce policy-based decision-making culture in Georgia.
