The aim of the program is for Sida, through the Arts Council, to contribute to the ability of artists and cultural actors globally to work freely regardless of opinion, religion, political affiliation, ethnicity, gender, or sexuality. Additionally, the programme aims to protect and promote freedom of expression, artistic freedom, and a diversity of cultural expressions globally.
