Result
Outcome A total of 371,971 ex-combatants (XCs) from conflict-impacted Tigray and other regions are demobilized, the military command structure is broken, and XCs are inserted back into their communities as civilians to build a lasting peace, enable reconciliation and reinforce social cohesion. 75,000 XCs are demobilized in 2024, and the remaining are demobilized in 2025/2026. XCs will be reinserted back to their communities in the period 2024-2026. Those in need will be supported with medical care SGBV services, MHPSS and disability support.
