Result
According to the partner report it can be concluded that: Component 1: Core Grants: 100% of plan was achieved. Component 2: Capacity Development and Technical Assistance Activities financed and completed under this component included, in addition to the implementation of the individual capacity development plans for each of the partners, the following: - Development of strategic plans for the partner CSOs; - Implementation of a biannual assessment of Shafaqs effectiveness and design of Shafaqs capacity development plan; - Carrying out a baseline study and an independent midterm evaluation; - Annual audits; - Development of a Human Rights Based Approach (HRBA) manual; and training on HRBA. Component 3: Project Management NDC successfully completed the grant administration and associated capacity building under the project and included; capacity building and technical assistance, management of the grants to the partners and oversight of the partner NGOs. Numerical results indicate: 200,175 Outreach Beneficiaries 4,675 Artists Perform 93% Beneficiary Satisfaction 1,633 Cultural Events in Jerusalem 268 School-based interventions 86 Cooperation Initiatives with the private sector
The stated goal of the Project is to Support the resilience of Palestinian community in East Jerusalem through the promotion of cultural rights. While its strategic objective is to Empower the Palestinian arts CSOs to continue and expand providing cultural services in East Jerusalem. Outcome One: the establishment of Jerusalem Arts Network , Shafaq the network of specialized cultural CSOs in East Jerusalem Outcome Two: Enhanced cooperation partners sustainability Outcome Three: Enhance cooperation between cooperation partners (CSOs) and other development partners (private and public sectors).
