Resultat
General question: Results related to the intended outcome 2016Question: Summarise results related to the intended outcome (this information will be sent to Open Aid)Answer: i) On Land management and Natural resources the progress was satisfactorily according to the plan which can be appreciated by the flowing examples: 50% of local partner organizations members appropriated the mechanisms and tools for prevention, management and mitigation of land conflicts; resulting in 11 out of 15 land conflicts were managed by communities with support of partner organizations. A total of 2,167 community members have had direct access to information related to land law corresponding to 29% of the total target (15652 members). During 2016, as a result of the increase availability of information on land and natural resources in the districts, 8 communities were able to benefit from the 20% of income from the forest and wildlife resource fess approved by law. On gender, there was an increase of land accessed by women community members equal to 4334 women. ii) The Local economic development outcome objective was far behind in relation to the planned targets, but during 2016 We Effect and partner organizations made additional efforts resulting in a significant progress as can be seen in the following examples: 73% of farmers were trained in sustainable techniques and adopted best practices to increase their productivity. There was an increase to 48 associations that facilitate market access for its members, doubling programme target. ALIMI and UCA partner organizations facilitated the opening of two (2) new community markets to promote the commercialization of agricultural products of the small farmers. iii) Regarding the access of information and knowledge management, during 2016 several steps were taken to improve the quality of service and information provided to the communities.
