Det huvudsakliga målet med detta projekt är att främja deltagandeledda stadsutvecklingsinsatser i utvecklingsländer och samtidigt stödja institutionell och programmatisk förstärkning av organisationer som är anslutna till SDI. ("The main objective of this programme is to promote community-led urban development interventions in developing countries while supporting institutional and programmatic strengthening of slum dwellers organisations affiliated to SDI").
