In targeting marginalised communities, CSO have been strengthened in their role to represent and support groups that struggle to attain their full rights. For instance, three CSOs (Organization of Women of the Municipality of Sveti Nikole (OWMSVN), Educational, Humanitarian Organisation Stip (EcHO Stip), and Non-government organisation KHAM Delcevo) underwent rigorous training and mentoring sessions, for 10 psychologist and attorney staff members. Additionally, eight professionals benefited from 108 mentorship sessions, markedly improving their capabilities in delivering crucial services. As a result, these CSOs implemented more sustainable and innovative support packages, that benefited 1,140 rights holders across the targeted regions. The presence of the three CSO offices further solidified the project's commitment to expanding service delivery and ensuring structured support mechanisms. The persons targeted in sub-grantee projects were (often) eco nomically marginalised. As they struggled to attain power and influence in a society where they face oppression, they were also impacted by poverty as defined by the multidimensional understanding of poverty used by Sida. Furthermore, the project has contributed specifically to the second point of the first goal of the strategy; Greater awareness, engagement and capacity among people living in poverty, enabling them to work for democracy and to organise in order to assert their human rights. During the implementation period, the collaborative efforts of CSOs and members of marginalised communities to enhance access to justice were strengthened. The project managed six networks and established three new ones, involving a total of 63 stakeholders. These networks facilitated coordinated efforts to address local issues and improve access to justice for marginalised communities. The "Access to Justice for Marginalized Communities 2.0" conference, which convened 31 stakeholders, provided a platform for in-depth discussions on access to justice issues, highlighting achievements and reinforcing the importance of continued collaboration among diverse entities. The project also documented 308 cases of human rights violations, providing invaluable insights into the challenges faced by these communities. Robust communication strategies, including regional activities and comprehensive media campaigns, significantly raised awareness about the services available through CSOs. A public campaign on the available services implemented by the sub-grantees reached over 160,000 people, while traditional media outreach reached over 150,000 individuals. The campaign targeted women suffering gender-based violence and domestic violence in the regions where the sub-grantees operate, ensuring a broad and impactful reach. The campaign was designed to be informative, offering vital knowledge about available resources and legal rights; supportive, providing reassurance and guidance to those in need; and encouraging, empowering victims/survivors to take steps towards seeking help. By openly addressing these issues, the campaign normalised the conversation around gender-based violence and domestic violence, reduced the stigma associated with being a violence survivor, and fostered a community of support. These efforts were supplemented by three public events that directly informed over 150 people about available services and served as a forum for exchanging ideas, experiences and strategies to improve the situation for women in the communities. This outreach led to an increase in visits and support requests from marginalised communities, underscoring the project's success in encouraging community members to seek the assistance they need.
